Nalpeiron Competition

How does Nalpeiron compare to others in the industry?

How does Nalpeiron compare to the competition?

The entitlement management market has two poles: large legacy vendors (Revenera, Gemalto/Thales) with mature capabilities but weak customer focus, and newer small vendors with low capability and no track record. Nalpeiron positions itself as the mature, focused middle ground.

Why the comparison matters

Customers routinely report feeling unaligned with the larger legacy vendors and risk-exposed with the small ones. A fit-for-purpose partner with depth and focus reduces both sets of problems.

How Nalpeiron differentiates

Nalpeiron is the "Goldilocks" vendor — big enough to be mature, small enough to care.

  • Mature, capable platform built since 2005
  • 100% focused on entitlement management and software monetization
  • Strong professional services and customer-success engagement
  • Proven scale with large ISVs
  • Platform positioned as a means to a business outcome, not a technical curiosity

It can be helpful to take a look at how Nalpeiron compares to the competition in the industry.

And I would say that there are roughly two classes of competitors out there. One from a metric standpoint of capabilities, in terms of maturity of capabilities versus their focus on partnering and achieving success for that end customer.

So if you look at some of the legacy companies, they would typically be around here.

These are the large companies like Revenera, part of Flexera, or Gemalto, part of Thales, and such. So they are relatively capable platforms, but we hear ongoing frustration and from companies on those platforms that they don't feel they're aligned from a success standpoint.

The other category of companies that are out there in the industry are relatively new companies that have lower capabilities.

And relatively small teams, these are sort of two people, five people, maybe up to ten people, They really don't have a proven track record and are really kind of focused on technical features, but they don't have the depth of experience or professional services and so forth in order to be able to really focus on making sure each customer that adopts them is successful with their business objectives.

Whereas Nalpeiron is kind of the best of all worlds. Where we have a highly capable, very mature platform, both from features and capabilities, integration, scalability, reliability, and so forth. So highly capable, but we're still small enough to really focus on each customer that comes aboard and ensuring that they are, in fact, successful achieving their outcomes. Because remember an entitlement management platform is really a means to an end. The end result that companies are looking for is an improvement in their business.

So what we've often been called is sort of this goldilocks kind of vendor where we are big enough that we've got that deep expertise, that proven track record, and that mature platform with a rich set of capabilities. But we're still small enough that we can still continue to focus on the success of each and every one of our customers.
