The Challenge
Objectif Lune operated a proprietary licensing system that had become obsolete. They needed cloud-first entitlement management as the licensing world changed under them. Encountered technical challenges with virtual machine deployments and various software deployment methods. Required evolution to new business models including consumption-based pricing.
The Solution
Migrated to Zentitle cloud-based platform supporting flexible licensing models: floating licenses, time-based licenses, perpetual licenses, consumption-based licensing with strong foundation, and hybrid models combining subscription and consumption. Provided virtual machine support, reseller entitlement tracking for up to 20 customers per reseller, and future-ready architecture for microservices.
